Having grown up in Apartheid South Africa and been a member of the anti-Apartheid movement, service to society is an essential element of who I am and what I do. I am privileged therefore to be able to serve on the following Boards:
London Policing Board: created in response to Baroness Casey’s recommendations in her review of culture and standards in the Metropolitan Police by the Mayor of London to help drive the significant reform required and hold the Met Commissioner to account for their delivery.
LimeCulture Community Interest Company Board: a national sexual violence and safeguarding organisation based in the UK which works with frontline professionals and their organisations to improve the response to victims of sexual violence through training and professional development, research and consultancy.
The Board of the Charitable Trust for the Tongabezi Trust School: aims to provide underprivileged, rural Zambian children with a quality, holistic education. The Trust provides funds for the administration, maintenance and capital projects of the School as well as funds for Community Projects for residents of local villages. The Board of Trustees support the School’s Board of Governors in their leadership of the School’s governance and strategic plans.
